We've just moved back into a broom closet norf a the river - sadly no half an acre here...not super-familiar with most of London yet to be honest - still in the exploration process.

Would be cool to meet you - will you be at Cybermummy this year?
~MRachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04868311511462835246noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-445176769240984061.post-40322221128449262642011-04-24T23:42:15.999+01:002011-04-24T23:42:15.999+01:00Well my parents place is a quarter of an acre if y...Well my parents place is a quarter of an acre if you include the front garden, which is quite unusual. When they bought the house in 1973 nobody was moving to Putney - what, south of the river?! Have you moved back to London? Coyote? Where is their habitat outside N America? I don't think you were in the States so where did you grow up?zookeeperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02273861661493362850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-445176769240984061.post-85295755440875835262011-04-24T23:05:43.558+01:002011-04-24T23:05:43.558+01:00Ah, have heard good things about Putney, but never...Ah, have heard good things about Putney, but never realized you could keep fowl there. I grew up with chickens too, but they mostly met a similar fate as yours at the paws of coyotes (nature's biggest bastards). How lovely that you got to escape to the country - having only just moved back in from the burbs three weeks ago, we forgot to leave for the bank holiday weekend - oops - and the place is a bit of a ghosttown...enjoy the rest of your retreat.
~MRachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04868311511462835246noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-445176769240984061.post-88513921047669053412011-04-24T22:47:27.841+01:002011-04-24T22:47:27.841+01:00That's at my aunt's place in the country, ...That's at my aunt's place in the country, and the man attached to my daughter is my cousin! But I grew up in Putney, SW London with chickens in the garden - big for London standards, and nobody ever complained! Sadly the foxes got them in the end...zookeeperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02273861661493362850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-445176769240984061.post-42919151628736616302011-04-24T22:07:09.951+01:002011-04-24T22:07:09.951+01:00Have you installed a chicken coop in the backyard?...Have you installed a chicken coop in the backyard????
